Minho Reed Quintet

Composed of Spanish and Portuguese musicians, this quintet was formed with the aim of sharing the passion for chamber music and showcasing young talent from both sides of the border. Its members balance their musical studies with various professional pursuits, bringing a blend of youth, formal training, and performance experience to the group.

The repertoire of Minho Reed Quintet explores the wide range of tonal colors and sound offered by this ensemble, incorporating works from different eras and styles. Through their performances, the group seeks to make classical music accessible to all audiences, focusing on dynamic and engaging concerts.

In October 2026, they won first prize in the "Novas Ondas Sonoras" competition, held as part of the second edition of the international IKFEM Festival (Tui-Valença). On the same year, they also appeared as a guest ensemble at both the opening and closing events of the Galician Contest for Popular Wind Bands (Certame Galego de Bandas de Música Populares).
