Tokyo Reed Quintet is Japan's first Reed Quintet consisting of ensemble of five reed instrumentalists (Japan Ground Self-Defense Central Band). Officially registered with the World Reed Quintet Network. Tokyo Reed Quintet pursues new sounds by arranging its unique repertoire (early music, renaissance, baroque, impressionism, and pops). In 2020, they held a recital in Paris and received favorable reviews. It has also performed with the French Garde Republicaine Brass Band and the Air Force Band of Paris. In 2021, they won the second prize at the Medici International Music Competition
In 2023 Osaka International Chamber music and festa 2023 semifainalist and spesal prize .

Kazuya MURASE Clarinetist of JGSDF Central Band Kazuya Murase studied clarinet under Takafumi Komatsu and Tadayoshi Takeda at the Kunitachi College of Music. -
Yuuki TSUNEMATSU Oboist of JGSDF Central BAND Yuuki Tsunematsu studied oboe and English horn under the late Yoichi Yamamoto at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. -
Kazuki OKUDA Bass Clarinetist of JGSDF Central Band Kazuki Okuda studied clarinet under Yuka Nagato at the Osaka College of Music. -
Satoshi OHNISHI Saxophoniste of JGSDF Central Band He graduated from Maurice Ravel Conservatory with first prizes and special awards. He has won prizes at numerous international competitions. -
Tomofumi ISHIDA Bassoniste of JGSDF Central Band Tomofumi Ishida started playing the bassoon at the age of 17 under the influence of his father, a bassoonist.
